Jacob Cheek, B.S.

I am a fourth-year audiology extern at the American Family Children’s Hospital and a long-term trainee in the UW-Madison Wisconsin Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin where I am currently on track to receive a doctorate in Audiology. My capstone project, supervised by Dr. Liberty Hamilton at UT Austin, examined the effect of virtual fatigue in post-secondary students with hearing loss. I am eager to further identify areas in education that impact students’ ability to acoustically perceive information.
